Introduction

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS), Kalpakkam has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Trade Apprentices, Diploma Apprentices, and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship training will be conducted at Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu for a maximum period of one year. Candidates possessing the prescribed ITI, Diploma, or Graduate qualification in the relevant discipline may apply in the prescribed application format before the closing date mentioned in the notification.

Important Qualification Conditions

  1. The cut-off date for educational qualification is 30 June 2026.
  2. Candidates applying for Graduate/Diploma Apprentice must have passed the qualifying examination within the last 5 years as on 30 June 2026.
  3. Candidates awarded CGPA/GPA/SGPA must produce the official conversion formula issued by their University/Institute.
  4. If the University has not provided any conversion formula, NPCIL will apply the conversion standards mentioned in the notification.

Step Process
Step 1 Register on the appropriate portal: NAPS 2.0 (Trade Apprentice) or NATS 2.0 (Diploma & Graduate Apprentice).
Step 2 Download the prescribed Application Form (Annexure-I) from the official NPCIL website.
Step 3 Fill in the application form carefully with the required details.
Step 4 Attach self-attested copies of the required documents along with recent passport-size photographs.
Step 5 Send the completed application form by Speed Post/Registered Post to:

Important Instructions

  1. Apprenticeship training will be for a maximum period of one year.
  2. Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any Government, PSU, or Private Organization are not eligible.
  3. Candidates who absconded during previous apprenticeship training are not eligible.
  4. Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in NPCIL.
  5. Selected candidates must execute an Apprenticeship Contract as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
  6. Candidates must submit a Police Verification Certificate before engagement.
  7. Aadhaar must be linked with the candidate's Bank Account.
  8. Any false information, fake documents, suppression of facts, or impersonation will result in cancellation of candidature.
  9. NPCIL reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel vacancies without assigning any reason.
  10. Women candidates are encouraged to apply.

Standard of Physical Fitness

Candidates should be medically fit and free from any contagious or infectious disease.
