1. Introduction

State Bank of India (SBI) has released an official notification for recruitment of 2273 Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts on regular basis across various circles in India. Eligible candidates with required banking experience can apply online through the SBI Careers portal.

3. Pay Scale & Salary Structure

The post falls under Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). Selected candidates will also be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA and other allowances as applicable.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Candidates with Medical, Engineering, CA, Cost Accountant qualifications are also eligible.

Experience Requirement

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank listed in Second Schedule of RBI as on 31 December 2025.

Local Language Requirement

Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing and understanding the specified local language of the circle applied for. Language test will be conducted before joining unless candidate produces 10th/12th certificate showing the language studied.

Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Candidate must have been born between 01 January 1996 and 31 December 2004 (both days inclusive).
