A total of 7,150 provisional training seats are available across all states and union territories.

How to Apply Online
- Register on the NAPS portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and obtain a login ID.
- Visit the SBI career portal (https://www.sbi.co.in/careers) and open the “Engagement of Apprentices” online application form.
- Fill in all personal, educational and category details. Save the form to obtain a provisional registration number and password.
- Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, left thumb impression and hand‑written declaration as per specifications.
- Pay the non‑refundable application fee through the integrated online payment gateway (Rs.300 for General/OBC/EWS, Nil for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Submit the completed application. A confirmation e‑receipt will be generated; retain it for future reference.
- After successful submission, download the call‑letter and “Acquaint Yourself” booklet from the SBI website using your registration number.
Important Instructions
- Candidates can apply for only one state and submit only one application. Multiple applications will not be accepted.
- Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying, and the application will be considered complete only after successful fee payment.
- Selection will be based on an Online Written Test followed by a Local Language Test (where applicable).
- Negative marking of ¼ mark will be applicable for every wrong answer in the online examination.
- Candidates must carry a valid original photo ID proof to the examination centre. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches are strictly prohibited.
- Candidates belonging to EWS, OBC, and PwBD categories must produce the required valid certificates during document verification or joining.
- All future updates, corrigenda, and recruitment-related notifications will be published only on the official SBI and apprenticeship portals.
